High School Outreach

This Utah Education Network (UEN) course will provide an overview of health careers to students seeking this career path. The course will include modules exploring the characteristics of healthcare providers, understanding the work environment, conversations with current healthcare providers, and the tools and resources to engage students and help them find success as they progress in this academic pathway. Further, students will be asked to participate in service outside of the classroom in organizations where they can explore patient interaction, the impact of healthcare on the community, and/or job shadowing and to reflect on those experiences.
